Don't miss Train the Trainer 2017!

Only a few more can be accommodated for the next Train the Trainer.

Train the Trainer is a two-and-a-half day program developed by Ellen Ely of Landscape Training Solutions. Ellen was the founder of Brickman University and is truly a singular professional development talent. The only requirement of those wishing to participate in Train the Trainer is that they speak and understand English, have a strong interest in learning, and an equally strong disposition towards sharing their knowledge with others.

Train the Trainer is a unique immersion experience. The program which consists of short lectures, numerous group exercises, and participant presentations is designed to increase:

    - awareness and assessment skills,
    - an appreciation for diverse learning styles and the training techniques best suited to each, and
    - presentation skills.

Participants typically work long days preparing and rehearsing presentations, viewing video of their presentations, and receiving actionable feedback in small group and one-on-one settings.

Train the Trainer has also helped participants acquire a greater and more positive self awareness and helped them grow as leaders.

the Trainer is an exceptional networking opportunity. Participants live, eat, and work with colleagues from across the country, and the strangers on Sunday turn to friends by Wednesday. These colleagues can be a great future resource for the development and sharing of training programs and materials.

Those flying into Miami International Airport (MIA) will be picked up at the airport Sunday March 26 in the afternoon, taken to the retreat center where all participants will reside and all sessions will take place, and returned to MIA Wednesday March 29 in the afternoon. We recommend that participants arrive between 1:00 and 5:00 pm on Sunday and that their flights from MIA not depart before 3:00 pm on Wednesday.

Train the Trainer has been a positive experience for participants who are highly educated and those who are not, for native English-speakers and for those for whom English is a second language, for those working in small companies and large ones, and for company owners, operations managers, human resources professionals, crew leaders, and crew members. All have reported having increased their skill set through the Train the Trainer experience. For more on the impact Train the Trainer had on a recent participant, read our latest media release.
